We have been working closely with our Commerce Department, the Philadelphia BID Alliance, and the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PR&LA) to stay as up to date as possible regarding Philadelphia’s Vaccine Mandate.

In addition, we were offered another VERY generous opportunity for our businesses within the Hospitality Industry (bars & restaurants).

Through a grant provided by the William Penn Foundation, the PRLA can provide timely access to COVID-19 testing for Philadelphia restaurants and hotels and their employees.

Through this program, PRLA will reimburse employees up to $60 for a COVID-19 test (either at a testing site or through an “at-home” kit).

This program will remain in effect until funds are depleted!

How the Program Works

A Philadelphia restaurant or hotel applies for the program to have COVID-19 testing costs for their employees reimbursed. Employees who have a suspected exposure to COVID-19 can then get a test at any testing location nearby or purchase an “at-home” testing kit. PRLA reimburses the employee (through their employer) for any testing fees up to $60 per test.

Program Eligibility

Restaurants and hotels located in Philadelphia are eligible for the program and must register for the program with PRLA. Once approved, let your employees know that access to care is available.
