At the end of 2021, Capt. Walker was reassigned to another unit (common practice with the PD … every district received a new captain), and on Dec. 31, 2021 we met the new 15th district captain, Captain Jose Medina.

During our meeting, I learned that Capt. Medina was not new to the 15th – at all! He’s worked in the 15th in the past on the “last out” shift, so he’s already familiar with our district, and with Mayfair. We are confident that in a very short period of time, we will establish the same excellent working relationship that previously enjoyed with Capt. Walker.
