Looking for ways to fund your creativity? On Monday, February 24 the Office of Arts, Culture and The Creative Economy will be hosting a grant information session at the Mayfair Theater at 6243 Frankford Avenue from 6-7pm with questions and answers following.

Culture in Neighborhoods – Culture in Neighborhoods activates Philadelphia’s indoor public spaces with creativity. The initiative brings free theatrical and musical performances, dance instruction, art-making, and more to Community Schools, neighborhood libraries, recreation centers and older adult centers. OACCE partners with the Mayor’s Office of Education, the Free Library of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to present these FREE quality arts and cultural experiences to increase the use and engagement of these facilities.
Creative Avenues – Creative Avenues provides funding to Philadelphia’s community-based groups embarking on creative projects and activities that are free and open to the public. From performing artists and art-making, to creating a collaborative work of art, Creative Avenues focuses on incorporating the arts into neighborhood events to inspire community pride.
Make Art Philly – Each summer, the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy presents a FREE day of art camp, for ages 12 and under, at the City Hall Courtyard with Make Art Philly. Cultural organizations from the Philadelphia region provide make-and-take creative experiences for visitors to participate in a variety of fun, family-friendly activities.
