Please see the message below from Karmen of the Dept. of Commerce regarding funding that is available for businesses in Philadelphia that were impacted by the I-95 closure.
FYI: The deadline to apply for the Merchants Fund Emergency Grant Program is Wednesday, July 12.
Financial assistance is available for businesses impacted by the I-95 temporary closure in Northeast Philadelphia.
Small Business Administration (SBA) – Low-interest emergency loans
- Application filing deadline: March 24, 2024

programs/disaster-assistance/ economic-injury-disaster-loans - SBA will be opening a Business Recovery Center (BRC) to assist business owners in filling out a disaster loan application and providing one-on-one help around program information. Businesses visiting the BRC are recommended to park along Keystone Street, away from the areas with fire apparatus.

Philadelphia Fire Department’s Engine 38 Training Facility

Opening: Friday, July 7, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; CLOSED Sunday
Closes Permanently: Friday, July 21, 6 p.m.
