It’s CHRISTMAS TIME in Mayfair, which means that it’s time for the 10th annual Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest!

The Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest is brought to you every year by the Mayfair Civic Association and the Mayfair Business Improvement District.

Founded in 2013, this will be our 10th year hosting the Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest for our residents and business owners alike.

The contest has been well recognized and featured over the years by several news outlets and organizations, including Channel 3’s Vittoria Woodhill, who took a ride in our Judge’s bus, and our contest was also featured in a segment on Fox 29’s “Very Kelly Christmas” hosted by Bob Kelly.

Over the years, the contest has grown to include entries from well over 300 homes and businesses right here in Mayfair!

    • To be included in the contest, please submit your address via email to MayfairCivicAssociation@yahoo.com
    • You can also submit your entries on either the Mayfair Civic Association Facebook page or the Mayfair Business Improvement Facebook page

 

Once underway, a “2022 Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest Map” will be created and posted so that residents and visitors to Mayfair can walk or drive around to view the beautiful entries for themselves.

The 2022 Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest Map will be posted and updated regularly on the Mayfair Civic Association’s Facebook page as well as the Mayfair Business Improvement District’s Facebook page.

Residents and businesses in Mayfair are STRONGLY encouraged to participate!

The competition is always fierce, so please don’t hesitate to go all out!

On Wednesday, Dec. 21, prizes will be delivered to our contest winners, including prizes generously donated by our Mayfair Business Improvement District Members. The coveted “2022 Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest Winner” lawn sign that is created and donated every year by Aztec Signs will be delivered as well.

Prizes will be awarded in the following Three (3) Categories:

    • Category 1 : Top 3 Best Decorated Corners, Singles or Twin Homes in Mayfair
    • Category 2 : Top 3 Best Decorated Rowhomes in Mayfair
    • Category 3 : Top 3 Best Decorated Businesses in Mayfair

 

The Rules
    1. All entries must reside within the Mayfair Civic Association boundaries (found on MayfairCivicAssociation.com)
    2. All addresses and displays must be CLEARLY VISIBLE from the street! If your address isn’t easily visible from the street, your home may be overlooked by our judges
    3. All nominations must include an address number and street name. Also, please indicate if your nomination is a Single, Twin, Corner, Row, or Business
    4. Since the Judges have several homes and businesses to score, all entries MUST remain lit every night until 11 p.m.
    5. The DEADLINE to submit a nomination for the contest will be Sunday, Dec. 18 at 11:59 p.m., so get your entries in fast!

 

Only nine 2022 Mayfair Christmas Decoration Contest Winner lawn signs will exist … Will you get one? Decorate your home or business, submit your entry, and find out!

The more entries that we have, the merrier this season will be.
